Irrespective
of its final presentation, PP raffia has the following advantages:
a. Low
price (compared to polyester and cotton).
b. Lower density (0,9 gr/cm3) than any other chemical fibre.
c. Excellent mechanical properties.
d. Is the least sensitive fibre in terms of the possible effects
from the majority of chemical agents.
e. Has a very low tendency to produce static electricity.
f. Has the lowest level of thermal conductivity when compared
to other fibres.
g. Moisture absorption is practically zero.
